Pushr (www.pushr.ca) is a small video production company that specializes in startups and tech. We've worked with some of the coolest tech startups in B.C. and California. We're super chill, work hard when we have to and always want to make dope videos.

We're in Mount Pleasant in a dog (and human)-friendly co-working space. Beers on Thursday from 33 acres, fruit stocked by SPUD, espresso machine, Kombucha stocked by RISE, and an amazing community. We have a sick view of Vancouver and its glorious mountains for that #inspo.

We travel a lot for work, and are getting super busy, so we need to grow the team.


You’re a hustler by nature and always #getsh*tdone on time or ahead of schedule, and on budget (and ensure the rest of the team does as well). Your brain is able to handle a myriad of competing deadlines. You can plan and communicate production plans clearly and professionally, both to our team and our clients.

You geek out over new technology, want to (or have) visited tech companies in SF, have an eye for creative ads and commercials, while understanding (or wanting to learn) the behind-the-scenes work that goes into telling those stories effectively.

You have a chill personality and sense of humour, love being part of the creative process and are always thinking of ways to make things better for your team and for your clients. (Bonus points if you watch Silicon Valley or GoT).


pushr is looking for an ultra-organized, creative problem-slaying and people-first project coordinator. This team member is responsible for client relations, coordinating video shoots, and provide marketing, sales and social media support for the company.

Your day to day work might entail a sales meeting, replying to emails, setting up a casting call, location scouting, helping out on set, coordinating with editors, videographers, stylists, 3D artists and graphic designers and then hopping on a flight for our next video shoot.

This opportunity is perfect for a self-starter who wants to grow with a company.


Client Relations:

  • Client relations - developing a relationship with our clients through effective and professional communication over phone, email and in person

  • Business development support

Production Management:

  • Pre-production planning: Casting, location scouting, scheduling, coordinate vendors and timelines, supporting craft services and production coordination

  • Production: Some on-location support when required; potential for future growth to support with producing and interviewing for client videos if of interest

  • Post-production: Oversee timeline, resources and budget for post-production to ensure we deliver a top quality product to our client


  • Creative briefs and production plans

  • Marketing, sales and social media support to market pushr’s work and clients

pushr is looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Passionate about creative storytelling, video production and technology

  • Excellent problem-solver with superb planning skills

  • Previous experience in managing clients, production coordination, video production, customer service experience in retail or similar an asset

  • Education in business, communications or video production an asset

  • Effective communicator over email, phone and in-person

  • Ultra organized with experience using project management software such as Asana

  • Detail-oriented and resourceful planner

  • Creative problem solver

  • Flexible and adaptable to new experiences and changes to plans

  • Fun and easy to work with, sense of humour, personable


  • 40 hours/week; some weekend work may be required for film shoots, but we’ll give you time off in lieu
